Public Schoolers make the grade with Homeschooling family

A homeschool student in my school district has been surrounded with love and support when her father was seriously injured in an accident putting him out of work for months. Public school students have reached out to the family of 8 providing food, transportation, and prayer support. The thing that I love about kids is that they don’t see the boundaries that we do with public and home school students. They just see a fellow teenager who is struggling and they united together to provide support. I think it is exciting to see public school and homeschool kids working together to help a family in need. Too often in the church, we identify kids on where they go to school and not on who they are as a person. We need to all remember that God loves home school students and public school students the same.
